Please choose from one of the questions below.
We have seven different web stores. Each one services a different country/region of the world and is usually administered by that regional office. The advantage of multiple stores is that we can: The table below conveys the details of each web store: You need to be using the web store that is appropriate to your region (see previous question). But rather than you having to work that out, our web site will do this for you. All that you need to do is to set your country on the Creation home page (see next question). You only need to do this once on the computer that you are using as this country setting is “remembered”. Once you have done this, when you click on the Store Home menu button, you will be taken to the correct store for you. Alternatively to the above, you can choose your correct country/store from the store home page. There is an additional benefit in setting your country in that the Creation home page will display information that is specific to your country/region. This includes upcoming events and other news. If the country that you live in does not have its own specific webstore then you will be using the Australian webstore. Please see Sales Tax (below). Exception to the Rule—Using “other” countries Also, please be aware that we are progressivley phasing in this new webstore to all the other regions/countries so there may well be some countries/regions which still have the old webstore. On the Creation home page… Creating a store account is optional for shipped orders, but very useful to you as your addresses (you can store multiple billing and shipping addresses), email address and name are all recorded so that the next time that you shop these details do not have to be re-entered. Therefore, if you do not create a store account your name and address needs to be entered every time that you wish to purchase from our webstore. An account only applies to the store that you are creating it on. For example, if you create an account on the UK store, you cannot then change to the South African store and have your details available to you. So if you move from the UK to South Africa, you will need to create a new account on the South African web store. Click Login in the top menu. If you do not have an account, click the "No account? Create one here" link at the bottom of the login form. We sell two eBook formats, ePub and mobi. One of these formats will almost certainly be the correct one for your portable reader device or computer. Below is a short list of the most common readers and alternate methods of reading ebooks, with their correct format: For more information, see Comparison of e-book formats (Wikipedia). As there are a lot of different readers and software available to read eBooks it is essential that you check the specifications of your particular reader (with its manual, supplier or manufacturer) before making an ebook purchase. Purchasing an eBook Sending an eBook to your device The process for other eReaders is a bit more involved. Take a look at their respective documentation: What if the email with the download link/details did not arrive? Video MP4 files can be downloaded and played on your computer, TV, tablet or smartphone. Your computer almost certainly will have appropriate software which can play the video file. To play on your TV, the MP4 file will need to be accessible from a device that is attached to your TV (eg DVD, USB drive, WiFi). MP4 files are supplied in a variety of screen resolutions (usually 720p or 1080p for the more recent files, and 640x480 or 720x405 for the older files). The actual file size to dowload will depend on it’s resolution and also the length of the talk. Therefore files can be any where from 250mb to 5GB (approx) in size. Your billing address details are checked against your credit cards statement address. It is not a character by character check but rather it analyses the numeric information in the house number line of your address and the zip/post code. If it does not match then the transaction will be declined. Please note that this is not something that CMI has any control over. If you are sure that there is no other reason why your transaction has been declined and you think that it is because of this AVS check, then you have two options: Additional information is available here (external website). Your valuable credit card data is processed in a secure manner. The processing companies that we use employ industry standard security technologies. What store should I be using?
The only time you can use another webstore, is if you want the purchased goods to be shipped to that country. For example, if you live in the USA under normal circumstances you should be using the US webstore. However, it’s Christmas and you want to have resources sent to Auntie May in Australia. So, go to the Australian webstore, when the pop-up warning message appears, close the dialog, do your shopping, enter Auntie May’s Australian address as the delivery address and complete the remainder of the checkout process. Note that your payment will be converted to Australian dollars (for this example). How do I change my default store?
